As someone that was in similar situations for coupke decade, i can honestly say that you can overcome this. It needs a little work and little guidance, but with consistency and right attitude, you can totally overcome the mental state that you find yourself in because of stuttering. My recommendation is to read from and speak with people that have good advice on what they did to achieve this. Then pick few good suggestions, and experiment with them to see what works for you, what does not. You have to be willing to stutter openly, and talk to as many strangers as possible. Thisp rocess should be guided by someone, so you don't feel overwhelmed. If you manage to pull this off, your brainslowly starts to realize that stuttering is not a big deal. Look up openstutter in youtube. Those people are teachers, scietists and business people that openly stutter, qnd they're are friggin inspirational. Most of us are too afraid to take this step, which keeps us safe but it keeps us imprisoned. We never get to realize our true potential, and never get to proudly display our beautiful, true self. It is unfortunate that fear is the strongest emotion we possess, and most of us cannot seem to rise out of it. For me, it took courage, a blind leap of faith and sweet freedom....... All i needed was radical honesty. i believe that You can too.
