My dad mocked my stutter and a huge fight broke down Hey Reddit, I don’t have anyone to talk to now about this and I thought I would calm down before typing this. Long story short, yesterday we had a family dinner. I got approached by some family members at the dinner table asking me what’s my major, how old am I etc… I ended up stammering and stuttering ,but managed to get the words through. Today I was having a. Conversation with my parents and my dad started mocking my stuttering thinking it was some type of joke. I went crazy and started screaming and was so mad that a huge fight broke down. I usually don’t have anger issues but the only thing that hurts me is when people make fun of my stutter and especially when it is someone you truly love. I just needed to talk to someone about this cause I am lost and don’t know what to do.
