I wouldn't recommend it. Stuttering and the human condition is complex on a level that is nearly impossible for the layman to resolve on his or her own. But if you want a better understanding, John Harrison's (long ass, but informative) book is on pdf in the sidebar. The only "therapy" book I know is William Perry's book on valsalva. If you want something you can 'practice', I'd try that.
