I think it's important to become comfortable with your stammer, to realise it's not the end of the world if you do stammer in front of people, and if they tease you then that's their problem. To help this I've joined the comedy society of my university and I perform in sketches in front of crowds. It's basically extreme exposure therapy, and it's really helping me realise: 1: most *adults* are kinda indifferent to a stutter 2: people are comfortable with my stammer if I am comfortable with it. Just some things you might wanna think about :)
