Thank God for music

Thank God for music I have been playing cello for 11 years and piano for 5. The fact that I can pour my heart out into something I love AND not have to talk is amazing for me. I most recently performed at a school recital, and afterwards, a school newspaper reporter came up to me and asked, “What’s the best part of playing music?” My response? “Letting the music speak for me.” Although I may not be able to talk fluently, I have the ability to talk through music.
