If that is what you believe than that it was is so. Personally I do NOT think a stutter would keep you from being a pilot. Let me ask you a question. Do you think anyone is so hard on themselves for NOT being a professional athlete even though that’s their dream but the reality was that they did NOT win the genetic lottery and do NOT poses the physical gifts to play professionally? Or a person who is born ugly, do you think they spend their whole lives and put themselves into isolation because they weren’t born with the face to be a model which is the thing they’ve always wanted to be? Heck I wanted to be an astronaut my whole life but at some point I realized I don’t have the academic chops to be a scientist. I just don’t see how choosing to be miserable because you stutter is of any use. I don’t see why dwelling on the things you think you cannot do because you stutter helps anyone. The reality is, no one cares that you stutter more than YOU care you stutter. And that’s something I really wish people on this subreddit realized.
