I’m a mechanic, few people know I have fluency issues. I’m fortunate that my stutter isn’t as severe as some in this sub. On the occasional bad day I just slow things way down and speak in a deliberate manner. I also don’t have to talk to many customers and my boss tends to stay out of my hair for hours at a time.
