What are your tricks/techniques to limit exposure of your stuttering? I've been stuttering my whole life for as long as I can remember. My stuttering frequency varies from seasons/months but does not depend on my stress levels because I will stutter the most when I'm with close friends or family. From experience and practice I've been able to establish which starting vowels and consonants in words are the trickiest for me: "A","O","P","K". Knowing this usually allows me to think of a synonym ahead so I can work around the stutter, sometimes it works like charm and sometimes my sentence will sound weird with a synonym that may be odd or wrongly chosen :p but hey it's something. Also when I stutter I just mute myself as if I was choking in silence. I'd like to know about your techniques to "hide"/embellish your stuttering and your general experience too :))
