So I’m 23m, I’ve dated a number of women and obviously the topic of my stutter comes up. They’ve all said “aw it’s cute” or some variation of that. But I really think, that most people don’t understand what stuttering is. So to them, the only reaction to give is “awe it’s cute”…because that may be the response they give when they feel alittle uncomfortable. I’m not saying that all the girls I’ve dated have all secretly thought my stutter was ugly and stuff but just said it was cute to be nice…I’m saying they may just be saying the nicest thing because well…they don’t know what to say. MOST people won’t outright say “uh no ur stutter is very weird and ugly”…idk if all this makes sense
