I have worked with a couple of short-term speech groups for Emory’s Goizeta Business School. I was a guest speaker in a Georgia State business class about accents. I used to be active in the Toastmasters club. I coached adults by appointments as a speech instructor on their accents for 2 years. I coached singers and vocal speakers for a summer in the music city of Austin, Texas. I also used to work with adults in home health, briefly at a couple of nursing homes and a speech clinic, for 5 months on-call for a hospital, and for 8 months at DeKalb Medical Center in Decatur.
