I have those phases too and it sucks because you really do think you are improving and then you fall back into it again. However, from past stutterers who are now 40 years old +, the most common advice is that their confidence and self esteem helped them improve with their speech. They still have times where they stutter but even when they do they don’t pay much attention to it. The best advice is to get out there, get out of your comfort zone even if you feel like you are going to die from an anxiety attack. Keep in mind that most people don’t care if you stutter or not, some might get frustrated but so what? Fuck them? Order that food! Make those phone calls! You have to learn to not give a crap about what others think and that’s how you become more comfortable with your stutter. At the end of the day, I don’t think my stutter alone isa problem. The problem is what I think of my stutter and what I think others think of my stutter Good luck with everything! Don’t give up, you have so much potential. Your brain just works faster than your mouth! Lol. Some of the smartest people out there are stutterers. Look at Elon Musk for example ..
