But aren't you virtually doing the same thing in the experiment as you would in a real conversation? In a conversation, your brain first hears the message and you spontaneously think of what to say and say it. Exact same thing's happening here. The time gaps are pretty much the same too. The way I see it, the same brain processes that happen in a real conversation are occurring here as well. The only difference is that the fear of judgement is gone...because it's just a robot so we don't fear it.
