First of all, remember you're not inferior. I know we all feel like it a lot of times, but you got to keep on reminding yourself that your not. That's why I think you're on the right path. You're putting yourself out there in situations where you can practice anything you may have learned in speech therapy, and real world practice is better then speaking to yourself in my opinion. Clubs are great since it's a shared interest and everyone is usually jazzed about the subject so it can be a little more of an easy going enviornment. I joined the fencing club in college and it changed my life. I was able to practice a lot of my fluency techniques and people took me seriosuly because I tried my best at learning how to Fence. In the end I met my now wife there. But if your enthusiastic in your clubs, stutter be damned, people should start to take you seriously. Also people tend to mature a lot while in college, so you may find that right now the lower classmen are a bit like high schoolers.
