It does and that is my primary form of communication. However many people are not open to it. Meetings are set for any major issue or project cuz apparently it's too much work to talk in a thread. You don't get the best projects or get to take the lead on any of the major stuff coz of your lack of communication. I've also failed a lot of interviews primarily due to my stutter. I would still say that this is a good field but a PWS but you can't excel in most scenarios.
