Honeslty I'm not too familiar with modern techniques. Educate me on NLP if you will. I haven't had a speech session in nearly a decade but I remember my SLP practicing easy-onset and mindful breathing to help initiate the beginning of words. It's helped when I remember to use it I suppose but in the spur of the moment my go-to would be using fillers/ interjections to get what I wanted to say out with minimal hiccups. Example: "Soooo, uuhhm what time is it?" "Uhm" is my favorite because it's effortless but I know some people think I'm slow when I use it too much lol I'll say, there are times when I eliminate a word like, "Do you know the time?" Instead I'll say, "You know the time?" Exaggeting Yyyyyou but adding easy-onset where I start under my breath and get louder as it's beginning to flow. "yyyyYYYou know the time?" That often helps too but it's sub-consciously done at this point I think lol. Idk if any of that makes sense. In my head it does
