For some reason my stutter is strong in my families genes, I have 2 uncles myself and a close cousin all that stutter, and that’s just the family I’m in contact with, one of my uncles said he cured his through pure determination as a kid, and he has witnesses to prove it, it’s always stuck with me as a kid cuz he wouldn’t pity me, he’d just tell me to get over it. Sadly I’m grown and still have it, not nearly as bad as being a kid but I do still blame myself for maybe not trying hard enough to 100% defeat it or I still have false hope I could completely cure myself one day
