I’m 30 and I’ve had a stutter my whole life (was pretty severe into my teens) but now I’d classify it as mild to moderate depending on how stressed/anxious I am. I work in Operations for Amazon and as you can imagine I have to deal with overseeing hundreds of people and lead daily meetings and presentations over microphones. The way that I’ve gotten comfortable enough to do my job is pretty much the same for doing interviews; prep like crazy, prep like there’s no tomorrow. I go over every possible question and answer, prepare entire stories around them, I do mock interviews with friends, coworkers or even strangers. I always slow down my speech or pause for a few seconds if I feel myself getting close to stuttering. I also disclose at the beginning of my interviews that I have a stutter to get any awkwardness out of the way. This has lead me to have pretty confident and solid interviews.
