Hey, a bit late, but I did the McGuire programme about 6 years ago. I worked super hard for the first 2 years of it, putting in a ton of work. The support system they have in place with the ability to call coaches for help at almost any time is beyond amazing. It's not a cure, it takes work and if you're the procrastinating type you're gonna find it even tougher (I did). Just realise, it's gonna mean you will have to dedicate a good chunk of time to it, and also become very honest with everyone in your life about your stutter. If you have a covert stutter, this might also be a challenge as the techniques are completely overt in nature. However, if you can push through those things you're gonna find it hugely beneficial, it definitely changed my life for the better. While I don't engage with the programme itself very often anymore (uni), I still go back to the basic methods taught whenever I feel the need to. It's basically learning a new way of speaking from scratch. It was definitely worth the money. If you have any questions feel free to DM me or reply here :)
