yes x100. i think i’d be so much more confident. i try to not to spend too much time thinking about who i would be if i didn’t have it because even though it is tough and i’m still trying to find ways to get rid of it/control it, its given me so much empathy and understanding for other people that i wouldn’t have if i didn’t stutter. even though i’m not christian, there’s this interview of stephen colbert where he says “what punishments of god are not gifts?” i try to remember that when im having hard days.
