What would your advice be for someone struggling with talking over the microphone (for example via Skype, discord, in video games)? I’ve had this goal for a long time and every time I try to speak my throat and brains just completely black out. Do you feel like we know enough about stuttering already or do you think we still need to do extensive research? I personally get the impression that not much stutter-related research is being conducted but I might (hopefully am) completely wrong about this. How rare is stuttering exactly? I know about the 1% but what does this mean for you as a therapist? I mean, your potential group of clients is just very small to begin with. Thank you for doing this AMA and for helping stutterers like me :)
