\> Everyone is going to see me as that one girl who cant speak I know that feeling all too well. For a very long time I dreaded meeting new people because I felt like it would be just another person who knew about my speech problem. Yet another person who will associate me as "the dude with the stutter". These are feelings I think we've all had at some point. It may feel bleak and hopeless but I promise it can improve. It's not something that will fix itself or happen overnight. It takes work and patience, but you can do it! Have you looked into therapy at all, either professionally or via self-help? I've had success using the techniques outlined in [Self-Therapy for the Stutterer](https://www.stutteringhelp.org/sites/default/files/Migrate/book0012_11th_ed.pdf) (it's free!).
