I'm 25, I've stuttered all my life but never met anyone else with a stutter. I was so shocked that I think my brain turned off. I kept thinking 'wow, this is what I sound like to people.' But I know people with different speech impediments and they can be very sensitive about talking about it, even though they know I have a stutter. I don't want to accidently make anyone upset.
