I take 250mg magnesium oxide with a buffered vitamin c tablet. Doesn't matter when maybe with a big meal. But play around what works for.you. I tried so called superior magnesium forms like malate and citrate and they didn't work for me. Worth a try. At the very least your body is getting some good minerals..
