I’m sorry that your dad treats you that way. I find that my stutter is worse around my dad and I’m happy that he’s patient with me and allows me to text him instead of calling him if we have to have important conversations. I would let him know that his words/attitude towards your stutter don’t help at all and could actually negatively affect your anxiety towards talking to him and other men who are father figures.
