I came here to say this. I have many people laugh at me (a small giggle) the first time I stutter in front of them as recent as yesterday with a co-worker but she was nice to me besides that giggle. As WaleWaller said, it’s mostly due to not knowing how to react so I never take it too seriously now and only speak up if they comment or continue to make fun of it.
