Stutter is probably connected to a lot of things. And then other times maybe it's not. This is just to say, we don't quite know how it works (yet). However, that doesn't mean you shouldn't address your emotions and shyness on their own. :) That's just not something that e.g. speech therapy will necessarily help you with. "Regular" therapy might, though.
