Has anyone actually improved their fluency through Speech Therapy? My SLP told me that speech therapy for fluency is only effective in young children, and that it wouldn't work for an adult. I have however read posts on here by people who have attended speech therapy and have claimed that it has **benefitted them and made them more fluent.** If so, **can you please share your experience and specifically:** 1. What type of therapy you did 2. How much of an improvement in fluency you have noted (and whether it is has carried over in your day to day life) 3. How long therapy took [View Poll](https://www.reddit.com/poll/wzuurt)
