I stutter and I've been a teacher. None of my kids took up stuttering, except if I stuttered modeling an unfamiliar word to some students, they would repeat it with the extra syllable, and I would stop and explain that I said it incorrectly, and repeat it right. They got it right after that, so my original stutter didn't have more than a momentary impact. So - I'm pretty sure my kids will be fine. If they do happen to stutter, well, at least I'll find them a good speech therapist and be 100% supportive, and show them it doesn't fucking matter.
