In my opinion we can do the following: \- ask yourself: why do you doubt that you speak fluently? For example "because I cannot do it alone, I have the belief that I need more". Keep asking why: why do you need more to speak fluently? In my experience, my reply is: "because in my experience I stuttered. Or, because I just now stuttered.". Keep asking why: why did I just now stutter? In my experience "because I need more" so then finally I realize that it's a circle and that I need to break the OCD circle. Break the OCD circle, for example, my ideas are: \- don't try to speak fluently \- don't think about stuttering \- don't associate stuttering to words/situations In my experience, the thing that helped me the most is, always if I stutter then observe the ocd "I need more (to speak fluently)" and change this into "don't try to speak fluently". I'm sure everyone has their own experience or opinion. Does anyone share the same experience? What is everyone else's opinion?
