I too have ran out on many situations. It’s been a source of shame in my life. To me, however, there are no rules or things that must be done or ways we should act. Everything is made up by humans. We have to forget and let go of this undue shame and move on. Pushing forward and saying “fuck it” has gotten pretty far in life
