I know when my cousin was younger, she looked up to me so she would imitate my stutter. I’m not saying that’s definitely what it is, but younger siblings/relatives do go through that “monkey see monkey do” phase with people they look up to. It could be that or both of your kids stutter, which isn’t the end of the world. Its definitely gonna make your son(s) life harder, but try to teach him it’s not something to be embarrassed of. Confidence makes a world of difference (trust me, I’m 24 and still working on mine). Edit: Also child speech therapy is a NIGHTMARE (at least in my experience). If you find a good therapist to work with them, LATCH onto them. We went through probably 5 and just gave up afterwards 😞
