Kind of related: I'm in medical school, and yesterday I had a simulated patient exam where I had to conduct a physical exam. The lady asked my name, and I started it with "um" for leverage. Let's say my name is Adam. I replied "um, um, Adam". She said "Oh, your name is mAdam?" Embarrassed the hell out of me.
