The prolongations, etc are a result of trying to force the blocks. If you don't have at it, great! The only disadvantage is that your audience may thing you stopped talking in the middle of the sentence. I would advise you to read Redefining Stuttering from John C. Harrison. He also only blocked and manage to "cure himself"
