I understand it sounds controversial but I agree. Social standards held for men by women, tend to be a lot stricter/pickier than the social standards held by men for women. For example, it is more important for a man to look and sound confident than a woman when it comes to dating, and in that case having a stutter would affect the man more than the woman.
