They took the pressure off and now I'm able to move on to the next topic of conversation. >But most of the time, I want to make the point myself. Yeah, see? Sometimes, it's alright. I bet it varies a lot between stutterers, and for each individual over time too, how much they focus on this, and how they feel about it. I usually carry on struggling with whatever word has gotten stuck, even if the "audience" completes it for me. Sometimes it even gets easier to say it after they've said it. But I do like to complete it on my own - and besides, it's not always they guess the right word. ;)
