I mean SLPs. Most grad programs barely cover it. Some do a good job, but many more don't. Often they'll only have one class on fluency or even less than that. Stuttering is maybe 5-10% of an average SLPs caseload and it's a very complex disorder. Most other disorders are much more straight forward in terms of treatment but working with stuttering is almost as much an art as it is a science. Stuttering is regularly listed as the condition SLPs feel least confident in treating.
