I call this *mind reading* and it’s actually debilitating to us stutterers. When we mind read we induce fear, which increases anxiety and adrenaline. All of which exacerbates our stutter. You’re in the room because you know your stuff. You wouldn’t have been hired if they thought you weren’t competent. ALWAYS repeat “I got this!” to yourself before it’s your turn in order to setup a positive mindset. DON’T BELIEVE EVERYTHING YOU THINK!
