AGREED. I hated growing up thinking that someday my stutter would just magically go away one day. I remember crying when my parents and speech therapist told me that would not likely be the case and I would have this my entire life. As I have gotten older, I have become more fluent but it's because I practice daily through teaching and mentoring others. I hate when people talk about how they "grew out of it". I think it gives people like us false hope.
