Do you have any citation that blocks and repetition favor covert and overt stutterers respectively? I've never heard this before and it's not my own experience. As I understand it, some people just stutter differently for no reason other than that we do. And if this is in fact shown to be the case, then where does elongation stuttering fall within that Venn?
