Buddy, I went through the same shit last year, and at times I still see myself in the same vein these days. HOWEVER, I've seen a lot of personal growth from just doing things. There was a stage where I avoided certain areas of my city because I didn't want to bump into people I knew, I avoided talking, to people I actually liked, like it was the plague. And it's kinda weird but it really is an attitude thing. About how you are mentally, and the persona you enter a situation in. I go into a barber now... to talk. I block a fair amount still, but I speak anyway, and I say whatever it is I want to say. Stuttering is a lot of hesitation and avoidance and it sucks, but if you can try to change the way you percieve your own self, and the way you view situations, speech wise or not, it can go a looooong way. It's difficult, but everything in life is. Just remember that everybody has to start from somewhere, usually from the bottom up.
