I’ve been pushing myself in that same way since getting into martial arts (did some half-marathons and competed in amateur Muay Thai bouts) and it only extended to all other aspects. Did you notice any changes with your diaphragm or other aspects of breathing especially while you tweaked your diet (assuming you did because running/training) and your sleep cycle likely got in check as well to prevent the injuries? Curious if you made note of much of any of that or not?
