I think it's just her way of saying it's okay with her if u stutter. I've actually had this happen to me a few times, and I figured it's just a (pretty dumb) way of telling you that it doesn't bother them. People are sometimes just a little bit overdramatic and don't understand the weight of their words but you can tell when someone means well :)
