I've heard from one of my female friends that it's actually cute. One girl told me she has encountered worse traits in men, some just acknowledged it. The negative reactions are quite widerange and unfortunetaly memorable. I worked a lot on my speech. Now I can speak 5-10 minutes fluently then stop at a word and from that on continue fluently for a other 5-10 minutes. I'd say it's on a level that makes it just spottable. When it comes up on a date I make a joke about it if she doesn't seem upset. On one hand you have to be confident about this and yourself on the other whatever you do it's still your drawback. I'm yet to find a girlfriend who can fully accept the fact that I have a speech problem.
