Me too. It’s called occult stuttering. I think it’s almost worse because it surprises unsuspecting people and then you see that look of pity and horror on their faces. I even had one horrible experience of someone believing that I was mocking the stuttering disability. I had to explain that I would never mimic any disability, especially from which I suffer. That happened 50 years ago. You'd think I'd have forgotten.
