I don’t mind. Please don’t speak for the whole community Instead of pretending that everything is perfectly normal, while I frustratingly struggle for 45 seconds to say a single word.. and you know the word, then go ahead and help me out. It allows me to move along with my conversation with minimal interruption ALSO, it relieves a ton of pressure of knowing that if I get stuck again, I will get helped... in turn reducing my anxiety, which helps me not stutter. If I know there’s no help, then I’ll just be more anxious knowing that if I get another block, it’s going to be another painfully awkward and embarrassing moment. I guess it’s preferential. But I don’t get why any stutterer would prefer a block to not
