Life is a zero-sum game, and you better pray that your stutter doesn't get worse. It's wild to me that i read posts on r/Stutter of people developing even worse Stutters than before, that sounds like a fucking horror story to me. Imagine going to work one day and your capacity to perform has just been capped ,or cut in half by the already limited ability you had to perform your job when the stutter wasn't as bad in the first place. you're essentially fucked man, like it's just insane to me that this is an actual thing. I fucking pray my hardest to (whoever at this point) that shit like that will NEVER happen to me. it really goes to show you how unfair this world is, how when your stutter is bad that there is someone way worse off than you, and the crazy thing is. is that there is no cosmic moral judge keeping score or ledgers on who has more luck than the other. NOPE it's just completely random stochastic noise, and we are left to our own devices. this world is a zero-sum game, the fact we even have a stutter puts us at an disadvantage compared to the average persons (non-PWS). Just your typical bullshit that you have to deal with when having a speech disability. may the god's of fluency be with you... \[This is a great sub btw, thank you so much for making it available to the Stuttering community\]!!
