Fear of Blocking I am always anticipating the upcoming block visualizing myself blocking on my mind-eye. I have develop a **fear of blocking.** Stuttering is a compound problem that consist of two elements; first is the initial trauma that make´s your body block on the first place and second is the trauma associated with the block itself. The second is so poweful that you can overcome the first trauma on the first place but your habit of visualizing youself blocking on your mind-movie is so strong that it perpetuate the blocking behaviour. Being a long time stutter and receiving the typical reactions of people suck as mocking and the associated blocking negative emotions; shame, guilt, frustation, anger, anxiety, will tell your mind a clear message: Don´t block again because you will feel like shit. That thought creates the fear. The fear creates anticipation. Anticipation make´s you stutter.
