i have a college interview coming up, please help hello. im a 16 year old from the uk with a moderate to severe sutter. ive recently applied for a construction course at a college in my town and i have a face-to-face interview coming up. ive noticed that when feeling intense emotions, my stutter gets 1000000 times worse than usual. having a stutter in itself has brought on extreme social anxiety, to the point where i almost burst into tears and shut down when socialising. the college is a pretty well known one, so theres a very good chance theyve had other people with stutters attend, so i guess thats eased my mind slightly. im just so fucking scared, so scared im considering cancelling it. i really dont want to walk out the interview crying my eyes out. and being a guy, i normally feel weak when i cry infront of people so im terrified of having a breakdown infront of fully grown adults and other kids my age. i dont wanna be known as the kid who brokedown during his interview. is there anything i can do to at least keep myself calm? i havent been nervous like this for ages. any help and/or advice is greatly appreciated
