I get what you’re saying but I’m not sure if that’s the case for me. I’ve been stuttering since the first grade and my stutter has always been like this. My teacher didn’t even think there was anything wrong with my speech at first, she just thought I couldn’t read whatever words I would get stuck on. She quickly realized that wasn’t the case though and that’s when I started speech therapy. I might try to look into speech therapy again. I’ve already seen one as an adult but it didn’t really help. Hopefully I can find a better one.
