I have been "cured" although it somehow feels odd to call it that. I stuttered severely as a child and seemed to just outgrow it as I grew out of my teens and into adulthood. Hard to say exactly what it was that might have contributed. I still get the very occasional block but it is so seldom that I don't even consider it. I've worked in sales and corporate for most of my adult life which should give you an idea of what my daily speech requirements might be, and if I were still suffering from my stutter I likely would not have chosen this field.
